Fuel pipe connector fitting and a restrictor metering valve for fluid or air from the fuel system as well. Both of the parts are from the engine bay area going down to a fuel tank.Both with maker markings and stamps very clear to see.

This pair of engine parts both still have there nice original colours and some original paintwork .The parts are in nice condition they have smashed and bent a bit by the impact crash they are in relic but solid condition and has been nicely cleaned perfect for display or any collection and are both around 3 inches long in size. The parts come with 2x A5 laminated information sheets and comes from  RAF Spitfire number K9911 flown by Sergeant D.I Kirton of 64 Squadron at 11.40am on the 8th August 1940 shot down by Messershmitt 109’s of 9/JG26 believed to by Oberleutnant Fronhoefer but he has never been officially credited with the Kill.The spitfire crashed in flames near Manston in Kent.

Sergeant D.I Kirton was killed and is now buried at St James Cemetery in Dover. The Messerschmitt pilot Oberleutnant Fronhoefer who shot down Sergeant Kirton was shot down himself on the 31st August 1940 and crash landed at Ulcombe in Kent.
