This is a lovely German bomber battle of Britain part which is a Rubber-isolated mounting bracket from the radio compartment inside the cockpit area.

The part is aluminium made with a large round rubber seal at one end and has lots of original colours and lots of light blue and white paintwork remains the part has been nicely cleaned it is very solid not braking up or falling apart and is 8 inches long and 7 inches wide and is perfect for display or any collection.The part comes with 2 x A5 laminated information sheets with pictures of the crash and the crew being captured during the battle.

The part comes from German Heinkel He 111H-3 work number 5680 the plane dumped its bombs and force landed in Burmarsh at 4.00pm on 11th September 1940 during Battle of Britain. These parts were in the Blake Hall Airscene museum in Essex collection until it shut down in 2007 and a lot of the items were sold off at auction. The part comes with 2 x A5 laminated information sheets with pictures of the crash

The plane was damaged by AA fire and then attacked by fighters including pilot officer T.S Wade and pilot D.G Williams of NO 92 squadron during sortie to bomb London Docks. The plane was set alight by the crew and burned out Feldwebel.H.Dreyer and Uunteroffizier H.Stirnemann,Feldwebel H.Friedrich and Unteroffizier K.Hofmann all bailed out and captured unhurt.
