Very rare tail wheel centre hub ,burnt in fire from a German Messerschmitt 110 recovered from the airfield at Voroponovo in the 6th Army pocket during the Battle of Stalingrad,1942-1943.
This is a very rare find a German Messerschmitt 110 tail wheel centre hub that has no tyre and look like it has burnt in a fire. The wheel hub is in nice condition still with lots of original black paintwork clear to see it does some rust damage and holes but nothing too bad it still has its centre wheel bearing in place it has been very well cleaned and retains a lot of original colour it is still nice and solid and is perfect for display or any collection The wheel is 6 inches wide and 9 inches high in size. The wheel was recovered from the airfield at Voroponovo which was in the 6th Army pocket during the Battle of Stalingrad in 1942-1943.
