This is a Pilots throttle quadrant assembly the primary engine control for the pilot when the aircraft is in flight. The box sat on the left side of the cockpit wall inside and RAF Hawker Tempest.

This is a aluminium and steel made throttle box still with some original black paintwork remains but has many part numbers and maker markings. The box is undamaged from the impact of the crash with no rust damage but is a bit pitted and looks like a bit of damage when it was removed from the aircraft it is in nice clean condition and is perfect for display or any collection and very rare to get complete like this and is 9 inches long and 7 inches wide.The box was taken as a souvenir from a RAF Tempest that was used during World War 2 and scrapped in the early 1950’s and comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards with pictures.
