Rare Horsa Glider Airframe Fabric – Operation Market Garden Relic
A rare, larger-sized section of original airframe fabric from a British Horsa glider, retaining its distinctive original grey colouring, clearly visible across the surface.
The piece is in very solid condition and has been carefully cleaned, while still showing evidence of having been torn during the impact of the crash. Measuring approximately 5 inches by 3 inches, it is an excellent and highly displayable relic, and a scarce addition to any collection.

Historical Context
The gliders formed part of the lifts carrying elements of the 1st Parachute Brigade, who were engaged in the opening stages of Operation Market Garden in the Netherlands.
Additional Information
