This is a rare battlefield find, as very few examples of these parts are seen today. It is the remains of a track link and pin from the famous German Goliath tracked mine. The link is in relic but solid condition it is rusty with some damage it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection.The link section is 5 inches in length and a cracking find.

The track link was recovered from a field near Trun, believed to be a pit dug by the Allies where large amounts of German equipment were discarded and buried following the Battle of the Falaise Pocket, Normandy, France, in 1944. A rare and interesting relic from the famous Normandy battlefield, it comes with 2xA5 laminated information sheets.
