This is a very rare find from the battlefield a German bronze 2nd class war merit cross with swords.The medal is only very lightly damaged from being buried and all of its markings that can be seen nice and clear to see. It still has some of its original colour but has partly discoloured from being buried and has been nicely cleaned and is perfect for display or a rare one for any collection.The medal was recovered from a large pit of buried equipment on the Seelow Heights in Germany part of the battle of Berlin in April 1945.The medal comes with 2x A5 laminated information sheets with pictures.
