This is a very rare fantastic condition German MP40 machine gun barrel which is battle damaged the barrel has blown off the rest of the gun which is rare to find from the battlefield. The barrel section is rusty but pretty much complete but is de activated by condition and is welded inside as well. The barrel is very solid it even has some original black paintwork remains and in nice relic condition. A highly recognizable relic, it has been nicely cleaned and is ideal for display or as part of any collection.
The barrel was recovered from German MP40 machine gun barrel section that was recovered from the Bastogne perimeter of 1944 during the battle of Bulge.
The barrel comes with 2x A5 laminated information cards with map and many pictures.
