This is a British NO85 brass shell fuse for a large calibre artillery gun very hard to find example of shell fuse .The fuse is damaged from the impact of being fired it is near complete it has some of its maker markings that can be seen it has its original brass colour and has been very well cleaned it is perfect for display or any collection and is a nice find from this very famous battlefield.
This shell fuse was recovered on the Ypres Battlefield in Belgium of 1914-1918.
