This is a Unbelievable rare rocket to find from the battlefield which i have never had one before.This is a German rocket fired by Fliegerfaust B the surface to air unguided missile launcher only used in very small numbers in 1945. The piece is empty and inert. The rocket is complete with apart from the fins it still has some original colours with the fuse still its lovely shiny aluminium colour. The fuse still comes in and out but is a bit stiff to do so, the metal is solid and in semi-relic condition it is a bit pitted and only very light rust but overall in very good condition for display and a very rare one for or inclusion in any collection. It has been carefully cleaned. The tail fin was recovered from the Defence positions used by the 20th Panzergrenadier Division which are North-East of Potsdam the German defence line for the battle of Berlin in April 1945 the fighting in last days of the Reich and defence of the capital against the Russians. The item comes with 3 x A5 laminated information cards with photographs,map.

From April 16, 1945, the division was used in the centre of the German defence against the Russian attack on Berlin starting out in defensive line North-East of Potsdam this is where they had heavy casualties from the fighting against the Russians the remains of The division was pushed back in to the city itself with the remnants surrendering to the Americans in May 1945.
