This is a very rare one off item from the Blitz on London in 1940-1941.This is a art deco silver plate coffee or tea pot with bomb damaged which was kept as a souvenir by the family from there bomb-damaged house. The pot which still has some original colours but has discoursed in places it is a bit dirty from being stored over the years but has been nicely cleaned as much as possible and is 11 inches long by 11 inches tall. The pot is damaged on the top with its lid blown off from bomb damage when the house in Lewisham had a bomb drooped on it and exploded damaging the clock but is still perfect for display or any collection. The pot originally came from a house in Brockley Road in Lewisham and was hit during the Blitz of London in 1940-1941.The pot comes with 2x A5 laminated information cards with pictures and map. This totally rare relic a real on of from the Blitz that i have never had before and properly never will again.
The pot and the old mantle clock i have already sold were both originally sold by the Granddaughter to a private collector this is where it has come from. The exact house number is unknown for sure it was 20 something that is all that is known.
