The part which is a aluminium made part which has electrical wiring and parts it is innice solid condition and does still have some remains of its original black paintwork remains and is damaged from the impact of the crash which has ripped and smashed with lots of original colours and has a maker marking on the inside.The part it is in nice solid condition and nice clean condition for a recovered relic it is perfect for display or any collection the part is 7 half inches long by 4 inches wide in size and perfect for display or any collection. This part was recovered from inside German Heinkel He 111 H-2 bomber of stab 111/KG53 work number 2630.The aircraft was engaged in bombing sortie to London, the Heinkel lost a wing in a collision with crippled RAF hurricane L2059 flown by pilot officer G.M.Forrester of NO 605 squadron who was killed. The German bomber crashed and exploded on Southfield Farm, Chawton near Alton in Hampshire at 5.50pm on the 9th September 1940 during the battle of Britain.The part comes with 3 x A5 laminated information cards also with diagram picture showing the part and where abouts on the aircraft it is from in clear pictures..
