This is a section of ignition distributor ring from one of the Wright R-1820 cyclone engines there was one in each engine. And a 5-pin circular amphenol electrical plug from inside an engine as well.

This is pair of engine parts which are bakelite made both with maker markings one is a plug at one end and a mag allow made electrical plug connector with original black colour the other a broken ring with its brown colour. Both parts still have some of there electrical wiring and parts still attached they have been cleaned the parts have ripped and smashed by the impact of the crash and are perfect for display or any collection the parts are 5-6 inches long in size. The pair of parts are from .American B-17 Flying Fortress, serial number 43-38898, which was known as "Hitler's Hoe Doe" also referred to as "Blind Date. The bomber was hit by anti-aircraft fire (flak) and crashed near Tutow while on a raid over Berlin on 3 February 1945. The parts come with a A5 laminated information card with pictures.

The B17 bomber was part of the 381st Bomb Group, 534th Bomb Squadron (Station 167 at Ridgewell, Essex, England).The raids in February and March 1945, aimed at the Friedrichstrasse Railway Station, Tempelhof marshalling yards, and various industrial sites, command-and-control, and government centres to destroy the city's infrastructure and support the Soviet advance. The raid on the 3rd of February was on Tempelhof marshalling yards.

The bomber crashed in flames and exploded near the village of Tutow near Berlin.
