This is a Russian screw plug base in 76mm armour piercing projectile fired by Zis 3 anti tank gun with all its maker markings and dated 1942 fairly clear to see which is a complete plug with very nice screw thread. The projectile plug which would screw back in to the shell if you wanted to it has lots of original colour which is completely empty and inert and is in lovely condition for a battlefield recovered projectile part which some light damage from being buried which has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection .The plug was recovered from the battlefield on the Seelow Heights in 1945 the opening battle for Berlin. A very nice relic from the famous Russian tank gun projectile.
