This is a rare to find group of sections of Emergency glazing used to repair broken or bomb damaged windows by the ARP services or Builders and repair crews during the London Blitz. There is very little around these days of this blitz used building material. These were kept as a war time souvenir by the owner the house after windows were replaced back to glass post war.
These thin perspex sections which are yellow in colour which they were a light yellow when used but these have discoloured more from being weathered and sunlight when they were on the house.. The parts have ripped and smashed when they were taken off the house post war to be replaced with glass but they are in nice solid condition and have been carefully cleaned making it perfect for display or any collection and are 4-9 inches long in size. The parts come with 2xA5 laminated information cards with pictures.
