This is a Rare French 30/38 Model 1884 and 1884 T time and percussion field fuse. The fuse is damaged from the impact of the crash it is not complete it has non of its maker markings that can be seen it has its original brass colour and has been very well cleaned it is perfect for display or any collection and is a nice find from this very famous battlefield. This shell fuse recovered in 2011 from around Hill 304 and Malancourt area the March - May 1916 battle in Verdun.
