Crewman’s walk around oxygen bottle, dated February 1943. Recovered from the woodland crash site of RAF Lancaster mark 1 LM102 UM-Z2 of 626 Squadron. the heavy bomber was on a raid on Reims in France 8th / 9th June 1944 during air bombardment in support of the D-day landings. The plane came down in woodland near Belloy in Oise, a village which is 6km southeast of Tricot.
