Piston conrod bracket from junkers jumo engine on German Ju87b-1 stuka dive bomber of 3/stG2 which was shot down on 16th August 1940 during the battle of Britain
This is a Piston conrod bracket from junkers jumo engine which is the bracket that connected to the main crank shaft,The part still has some original colours on the inside ring it is in relic but solid condition it is rusty and has been very well cleaned it is 5 inches long by 2 inches wide and perfect for display or any collection. The bracket comes from the engine on German Ju87b-1 stuka dive bomber of 3/stG2. This dive bomber was shot down at 1.00pm on the 16th August 1940 during the battle of Britain.The part comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards with crash site pictures.
The aircraft was shot down by RAF Hurricanes of NO 43 Squadron and 601 Squadron during a dive bomb attack on Tangmere Airfield. The plane crashed and exploded at Honar Farm in Pagham the crew Unteroffizier P.Linse and Obergefreiter R.Messerschmidt.
