This is a pair of wrench sockets from the engine room in the uboat. The sockets are 1 half inches long and are rusty but solid and are nice condition parts which are perfect for display or any collection. The sockets come from inside German U-boat number U-534. This was sunk by RAF Liberator bombers in the Katteget sea off Denmark on the 5th May 1945 in the last days of the War.The sockets come with A5 laminated information sheet with pictures.

German submarine U-534 Type IXC/40 U-boat for Germany's Kriegsmarine built in 1942 in Hamburg-Finkenwerder (Deutsche Werft AG - yard number 352). Launched 23rd September 1942 and commissioned on 23rd December in the same year.
