Pair of German soldiers dog tag remains both damaged and recovered from a field near Trun in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy 1944
This is a pair of German soldiers dog tag remains no markings can be seen but with more cleaning they might be there or they are blank un-issued to soldiers. The tags are rare to find from the battlefield they are in nice relic but solid condition; not crumbling or breaking up, and have been well cleaned and are perfect for display or any collection. The tags were recovered from a field near Trun, which we think was a pit dug by the allies where lots of German equipment was thrown in and buried after the battle in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in France 1944. A nice, rare relic from the famous Normandy battlefield and comes with A5 laminated information sheet.
