This is a pair of German soldiers dog tags which are blank un-issued tags. The tags are unusual to find from the battlefield they are in nice relic but solid condition; not crumbling or breaking up, and have been well cleaned and are perfect for display or any collection. The tags were recovered in 2014 from a pit of buried equipment near the village of Gueudecourt this area was defended by the 2nd Royal Bavarian Division during the battles of September 1916 on the Somme in France. The tags come with A5 laminated information sheet.
