This is a pair of German M1910 mess tin lids both not complete but nice relic condition and one has lots of original green paintwork remains. Both of the lids are rusty with some rust damage but one is much cleaned then the other but both are still solid not braking up or falling apart they have been nicely cleaned and are perfect for display or any collection. This mess tin lids were recovered in an old German Trench line near the village of Mametz on the Somme battlefield of July 1916..The tin lids come with A5 laminated information card with pictures and map.
