Fantastic Normandy loft find � an American O.D. brown overseas side cap featuring the infantry blue braid.

An exceptional piece, forgotten in a loft since the war and rediscovered locally by a relic hunter in 2022. I acquired it from him at the June 2023 militaria collectors� fair in Sainte-M�re-�glise.

The cap remains untouched, other than being placed in a freezer to eliminate any possible moths.
