Made of brass or aluminum, it operates instantly when pressure (approximately 15-20 kg) forces a striker onto a percussion cap. It was commonly used on anti-personnel mines, AT mines, and explosive charges.
This fuse which is a rare type to find it is pretty much complete but is empty and inert and is only slightly damaged, retaining its original colour and with clear visible maker marking and dated 1939.
