Glass-framed very rare aluminium maker label from a gun oil bottle from Junkers Ju88 bomber work number 317 shot down 16th October 1940 near Bishops stortford Church in Essex
This is a glass-framed very rare aluminium maker label from a gun oil bottle from onboard the bomber with its markings clear to see it is in very solid condition and has been carefully cleaned and retains most of its original colours . It is presented in a glass-fronted frame, complete with background information and numerous photographs, making it perfect for display. The frame measures 12 inches by 9 inches in size.The part is from German Junkers Ju88 bomber work number 317 on the 16th October 1940. This bomber was on a raid over London but before it got there it crashed in a very large explosion and burned out in the Village of Much Hadham near Bishops stortford Church in Essex during Battle of Britain.
All the crew were killed they were Hauptmann Erich Hass, Feldwebel Josef Kessels, Feldwebel Gunther Suhr and war correspondant Anton Doppelfeld.
