Fantastic display disk used by some type of German radar Funkhorchempfänger' (interception receiver), recovered from a dump pit on an old German radar site near Bremen part of Luftwaffe Kammhuber line
This is a display disk used by some type of German radar Funkhorchempfänger' (interception receiver).The disk is lovely condition which is aluminium made with all of its black stamped markings and numbers all very clear to see. The panel is 6 half inches wide it has only very lightly damaged and discolored in places from being buried barely any damage at all and still with lots of it’s original colours and on the back it has perfectly clear to see ink maker stamp and its orange/yellow paintwork. The disk is very solid and have been very well cleaned it is perfect condition for display or any collection and unusual bit of German radar to find recovered from the battlefield. The disk was recovered from a dump pit on an old German radar site in the Town of Leer near Bremen which was part of the Luftwaffe Kammhuber line. The German night fighter radar system for detecting Allied bombing raids over Germany. The disk comes with A5 laminated information card.
