The part lovely condition undercarriage linkage part of the operating system for the legs in the bay.
The part which is only lightly damaged still its nice shiny colour it is undamaged by the impact of the crash as it is such a solid heavy part.The part but does have some pitting and is only very lightly rusty in places and still most of its original still colour it is nice and solid condition and it has been very nicely cleaned it is perfect for display or any collection it is a lovely unusual bit of aircraft which is 7 inches long by 1 half inches wide. The part comes from RAF Hawker Hurricane of Number 6 squadron, shot down and crashed in 1942 in Egypt during the war in North Africa.The part comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards with pictures and diagram
The Hurricane was recovered in the 1980’s.The parts were in the Blake Hall airsceane Museum in Essex which closed in 2007.
