This is a German K98 rifle which is complete metal work with no wood but with lovely bent handle bolt still in place, it is empty of all ammunition. The rifle is deactivated by condition obviously plain to see with no moving parts all. The rifle is in nice condition for a relic rusty it has been very nicely cleaned and is in very solid condition perfect for collection and perfect for display. The rifle was recovered near the village of Honsfield in the Losheim gap attacked by the 6th SS Panzer Army on the 16th December 1944 during the Ardennes forest offensive in the Battle of the Bulge in 1944-45.The rifle comes with 2x A5 laminated information cards with pictures.
