This is a nice and very rare find from the battlefield which is a German model 1915 discus grenade the large offensive type which was used when attacking enemy lines or positions The grenade is totally complete and is in lovely semi relic condition which is empty and inert. This is the outer casing aluminium made metal case still with all fittings and pin attached it has no holes but is rusty and pitted but not to badly with a lots of its original black paintwork remains and is perfect condition and is perfect for display or any collection.The grenade was recovered from the Somme battlefield of 1916-1918.This grenade comes with A5 laminated information card.
