This is a rare find in this condition British 3-Inch shell case which is a It is pretty much undamaged with no real discolor. The case still retains its brass colour lovely and clean. The case is complete on the bottom with its original markings and is dated July 1917. The case is from a private collection on the Somme. A very nice and not easy to find German artillery relic from the famous Somme battlefield of 1916-1918..The case comes with A5 laminated information card with pictures.
