Lovely clean airframe sections from German Junkers Ju88 bomber shot down at 1.40pm on Sunday the 18th August 1940.This was the hardest day during the Battle of Britain.
This is a nice group of 3 lovely shiny aluminium airframe parts that still retain most of its original colours and some original black paintwork remains they have ripped and bent up by the impact of the crash they are in nice solid condition the parts have been very nicely cleaned and are perfect for display or any collection the parts are 14-3 inches long. The parts come from German Junkers Ju88 bomber shot down at 1.40pm on Sunday the 18th August 1940.This was the hardest day during the Battle of Britain.The parts come with 2x A5 laminated information cards with crash site pictures taken that day.
The bomber was attacked by RAF fighters possibly that attacked number 501 squadron by Sergeant P.C.P Farnes while the bomber was attacking West Malling airfield. The Ju88 bomber crashed and burned out at Church Farm in Aylesford.
