This is a very hard to get part from the very famous scrapyard in Normandy. This is a large tank climbing handle which still has some original sand colour paintwork remains fairly clear to see.We are not sure exactly what type of tank its from as so many different German vehicles were scrapped there. The handle has been gas axed off at some point it is in relic but solid condition it is rusty but has no significant damage and has been carefully cleaned, making it ideal for display or any military collection and is 21 inches long. The climbing handle was found in the late 1980’s on the site of the Trun scrapyard from a vehicle lost in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy from the Summer battle of 1944.. The handle comes with 2 x A5 laminated information cards with many pictures.
