Large section of cockpit perspex from German Heinkel He 111H-2 work number 5481 of 3/KG53. The pilot of the bomber was severely wounded in a fighter attach during a sortie to bomb London. The crew bailed out and the bomber crashed on Bourne farm in Sandhurst Kent at 3.30pm on the 15th September 1940, during the hardest day in the Battle of Britain.
