Large group of airframe sections from German Heinkel He 111H-5 work number 3595,stab 111/KG 26 on a raid, Avonmouth Docks which was shot down and crashed at 10.25pm on the 4th April 1941 in Somerset.

This is a very nice large group of airframe sections and structure parts there are 5 aluminium and steel made parts some larger parts as well. The parts are nice condition fairly clean and have some original green camouflage paintwork remains still on them fairly clear to see they have ripped and bent by the impact of the crash and still retain some of there original colours they are solid not braking up or falling apart and have been very well cleaned perfect for display or any collection the parts are 4-8 inches long in size.The parts come with 2 X A5 laminated information sheets with photographs of the crash recovery on the bbc tv series.

The Heinkel was shot down by a night fighter which was an RAF Beaufighter of 604 squadron flown by Flying officer E.D Crew and Sergeant N.Guthrie. The German bomber crashed into a field at West Hewish near Weston Super Mare in Somerset.
