Glass framed group of German soldiers relics recovered from near the village of Trun in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in 1944
This is a glass-framed nice condition group of German soldiers relics There are 5 relics in all including half a dog tag which does have some of its markings still fairly clear to see the parts are still very solid not braking up or falling apart they still retain some of there original colours but are a bit dirty from being buried but have been nicely cleaned. The parts have been mounted in to a glass-fronted box frame, complete with background information and picture, making it perfect for display. The frame measures 9 half inches by 9 half inches in size.The parts were recovered from near the village of Trun in the Falaise Pocket, Normandy in 1944
The items were recovered from a field near Trun, believed to be a pit dug by the Allies where large amounts of German equipment were discarded and buried following the Battle of the Falaise Pocket, Normandy, France, in 1944. A rare and interesting relic from the famous Normandy battlefield.
