Large airframe structure section from German Heinkel he115 work number 3250 of 1./KüstenFliegerGruppe 906 8L+AH which crashed on 28th June 1942 in Finnmark in Northern Norway.
This is a solid large aluminium airframe structure section which is a few bits still riveted together it still has its nice original colour with some white and gray paintwork remains and a large size section of aluminium structure .The part is in nice condition it has ripped and bent by the impact crash it is in relic but solid condition and has been nicely cleaned perfect for display or any collection and is 15 inches long by 6 inches in size. The part comes from German Heinkel he115 work number 3250 of 1./KüstenFliegerGruppe 906 8L+AH which crashed after taking off on the 28th June 1942 at Oterberget, Ytre Billefjord in Finnmark in Northern Norway.
The part comes with 2xA5 laminated information cards with crash site pictures of what it looks like now. The parts have come from a private collection which the items were collected many years ago directly from the crash sites he visited and found including surface finds or some aircraft that were dug out and recovered all these parts now available for the first time.
The Heinkel crashed at Oterberget shortly after take-off from Billefjord See. The aircraft exploded and all onboard were killed.
