Very rare mounting frame for Lichtenstein radar unit from German Messerschmitt 110 work number 2072-2/NJG intercepting British RAF bombers over Aachen on 5th October 1942, crashed Ardennes

This is a very rare to find a mounting frame from the nose for electrical equipment part from the Lichtenstein radar unit on the front of German Messerschmitt ME110. The part is steel made with lots of original gray paintwork remains with some electrical parts still attached and with some damage from the impact of the crash but nothing to bad it has lots of original colour and is in nice solid condition it has been very well cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection the part is 11 inches long by 7 inches in size. The part comes from German Messerschmitt ME110 work number 2072 of 2/NJG 4 which took off from Florennes in Belgium on the evening of 5th October 1942.The plane was on intercept mission on British RAF bombers who were on a raid over the City of Aachen the aircraft eventually ran out of fuel and crash landed at Attigny in the Ardennes Forest Belgium. The pilot was Unteroffizier Suhre he jumped clear of the plane but was wounded. The part comes with 3x A5 laminated information cards with pictures of the radar unit.
