This is a group of 5 airframe sections and engine parts which are in relic, rusty condition but still with some original paintwork also with original colours. The parts still with some dirt attached from the recovery also partly burnt in the fire after the crash. The parts have ripped and bent by the impact of the crash and have been nicely cleaned but might clean up more with effort they are in nice solid condition and are perfect for display or any collection the parts are 4-10 inches long and come with 2xA5 laminated information cards with painting of crash and crewman’s pictures.

The parts come from German Junkers Ju88 bomber work number 8104 of 6/KG76 which was hit by anti-aircraft fire over Hastings. It was later engaged by RAF Hurricanes over its target Kenley airfield.The Hurricanes who attacked were Flight Lieutenant M.H Brown of NO 1 Squadron with its starboard engine set alight it was then attacked by pilot officer C.M Stavert. Probably also attacked by Sergeant S.Karubin of NO 303 Squadron.

The Ju88 bomber dumped it bombs in blind panic prior to crash landing at Tankards Farm in Tonbridge in Kent. The bomber later caught fire and partly burned out after the crash on the 6th September 1940 during the Battle of Britain.
