Lovely engine Piston from Junkers Jumo 211 engine on German JU88 Bomber work number 8095 of KG77 shot down by Polish ace and crashed near Dorking on the 27th September 1940

This is a very rare find from the battle of Britain it is a complete engine piston from a German JU88 bomber shot down by Polish Ace. The piston is complete it has a bit of damage including a few small holes with some pitting and scrapes but nothing to bad at all also has a bit of damage from the impact of the crash with a few dents and knocks but again nothing to bad. The piston which still has its conrod attached which is straight and has some original colours and some clear to see maker marking part numbers it has been very well cleaned it is in fantastic condition for a recovered piston and is a very nice example of a piston from this famous aircraft which is perfect for display or any collection and a rare one for the collection. and comes with 3xA5 laminated information cards with pictures.

This lovely part comes from German JU88 Bomber work number 8095, 2 Staffell (Kampfgeschwader 77) markings of 3Z+HK which was part of a large raid over London. The bomber was attacked and shot down by RAF Hurricanes of 303 squadron with Polish ace squadron leader Witold Urbanowicz credited with the kill.

The ju88 crashed near Dorking in Surrey on the 27th September 1940 in the battle of Britain.
