              Rare US mark 5 gas mask filter worn by paratrooper of the 507-parachute infantry regiment. The filter was recovered from the area of Drop Zone T, West of Sainte Mere Eglise in Normandy 1944 battle
This is a rare to find American mark 5 gas mask filter still with some original colours and black paintwork. This filter is damaged ripped and bent from being buried but is in a nice condition for a relic it has been very nicely cleaned but still with some dirt attached from recovery and is in nice solid condition it is perfect for any collection or any display. The filter was recovered from the area of Drop Zone T which is west of Sainte Mere Eglise used by the 507-parachute infantry regiment on the 6th June 1944 on D-Day in Normandy. The filter comes with 2x A5 laminated information cards with pictures and map.
