Group of tools from the engine room from inside German U-boat U-534 that was sunk by RAF Liberator bombers in the Katteget sea off Denmark 5th May 1945 & subsequently salvaged 23rd Aug 1993.

These tools were found inside the engine room on U-boat number U-534, they are in lovely relic condition amazing to have survived so well to still have original wooden handles. They are in good condition and cleaned up very well. perfect for display or any collection. The tools are approximately 9 inches in length. This U-boat was sunk by RAF Liberator bombers in the Katteget sea off Denmark on the 5th May 1945 in the last days of the War. The tools come with an A5 laminated information card.

German submarine U-534 Type IXC/40 U-boat for Germany's Kriegsmarine built in 1942 in Hamburg-Finkenwerder (Deutsche Werft AG - yard number 352). Launched 23rd September 1942 and commissioned on 23rd December in the same year.

U—534 was salvaged on 23rd August 1993 and moved to Woodside Ferry, Birkenhead to form the “U-boat story” museum..
