This is a group of very rare to find nice clean aluminium airframe sections there are 6 sections in all.
This group of lovely condition parts still have they have all of there nice original colours and green and white paintwork remains they have been nicely cleaned the parts have ripped and bent by the impact of the crash, the parts are perfect for display or any collection, the parts are 3-5 inches long in size. The group of parts are from German Messerschmitt 262 jet (coded 9K+AL with I./KG 51) which was accidentally shot down by a friendly German 75mm anti-aircraft (Flak) battery on September 12, 1944, near the Dutch village of Elden. German forces retrieved the wreckage and dumped it into a bomb crater at Deelen Air Base to hide the remains. It is believed to be the first jet aircraft to crash in the Netherlands.
The parts come with 2 X A5 laminated information cards with pictures of the recovery in 2014..
