This is a nice and rare to find from a German battle of Britain bomber. This a group of internal parts from the cockpit radio of the bomber there are 4 parts in all one is a switch and a radio hard wire connector from radio system which are aluminium and bakerite made with some of its electrical parts still attached they also have some original white maker stamps and have lots of their original colours they have been nicely cleaned the internal parts are 2-3 inches long it is perfect for display or any collection. The radio parts come from German Dornier Do17 bomber work number 4200. The bomber was shot down by RAF fighters at 2.30pm 15th September 1940 over Kent during the battle of Britain. The parts come with 2 x A5 laminated information sheets.

This plane of 5/KG3 was on the mass bomber raid on London the largest during the Battle of Britain.it was intercepted and shot down by RAF Hurricanes of 605 squadron the Dornier was rammed by Pilot Officer T.P.M Cooper-Slipper during the attack. The plane was abandoned by the crew and crashed on fire and exploded in Widehurst Woods Marden in Kent.

The crew of the Dornier were Oberfeldwebel H.Howind bailed out and was captured at Widehurst also Oberfeldwebel H.Hobel and Feldwebel E.Zimmermann both bailed out and were captured unhurt landing at Cannon Farm in Marden.[
