This is a very nice large Glass framed original photograph which was taken in 1942 at El Alamein showing thousands of German prisoners of war captured during the battle, the picture was taken by British air reconnaissance aircraft. This is a rare to find and nice aerial picture from North Africa 1941-1943.
The picture and copy of all writing on the back is clear to see copied on to front of the frame so it can be seen also there is some close ups of some of the items in the image. The picture is still very solid not crumbling or braking up and has been mounted in a glass fronted frame with all the information and pictures. The frame measuring 18 inches long by 14 inches wide making it perfect for display or a collection.
