This is an authentic, glass-framed aluminium made German Wehrmacht 9-12th grade shooter Shield for Army Marksman’s Lanyard. The relic still retains traces of its original wartime finish, making it an attractive and increasingly scarce piece from this famous Russian front battlefield.
The aluminium badge which has partly corroded the centre is still there, the eagle and the swastika is mostly still there and is clear to see and the badge is mostly complete just missing one edge it is in good, solid condition. It has been carefully cleaned while preserving its original character and wartime patina.
The relic is presented in a glass-fronted box frame, complete with information and pictures, making it an excellent display piece for any German relic collection or Second World War collection. The frame measures approximately 9 inches by 9 inches.
