This is a glass-framed British Parachute silk fragment which is a rare find from this famous battlefield. The section still retains some original colour but is dirty and stained from being buried it is in very solid condition and has been carefully cleaned and is a ripped off section . It is presented in a glass-fronted frame, complete with background information and numerous photograph, making it perfect for display. The frame measures 13 inches by 10 inches in size.The part was recovered in 1990’s from the site of landing zone X' near Wolfheze woods in Arnhem from the 17th September 1944 drop zone.
