This is an authentic, glass-framed group of aluminium airframe sections and radiator parts that were recovered from a German Ju 87B-1 Stuka dive bomber. The relics still retain traces of there original wartime finish, making it an attractive and increasingly scarce piece from one of the Luftwaffe's most recognisable aircraft.

The aluminium sections and radiator parts have torn, bent and distorted by the impact of the crash but remains in good, solid condition. The have been carefully cleaned while preserving its original character and wartime patina.

The relics are presented in a glass-fronted box frame, complete with aircraft information, making it an excellent display piece for any aviation or Second World War collection. The frame measures approximately 13 inches by 13 inches in size.

This airframe section was recovered from the crash site of a German Ju 87B-1 Stuka dive bomber of 3./StG 77, which was shot down at approximately 2:30 pm on 18 August 1940 during the Battle of Britain by RAF fighters.

The aircraft crashed at North Barn, Chidham, Sussex, killing both members of the crew: Oberleutnant Dietrich Lehmann and Unteroffizier Hans Winiarski.

This is a genuine relic from one of the most significant air battles of the Second World War and offers the opportunity to own a tangible piece of Battle of Britain history.
