This is a nice glass-framed airframe aluminium structure section with some of its blue undercoat primer paint remains this was only used by Japanese air force that is lovely and clear to see it has discoloured a bit from being buried but nothing to bad. The part has ripped and bent by the impact of the crash, it is in very solid condition and has been carefully cleaned and retains some of its original colours. It is presented in a glass-fronted box frame, complete with background information and numerous photographs, making it perfect for display or any collection. The frame measures 10 half inches by 10 half inches in size.
The part has been recovered from the crash site of a Japanese Mitsubishi A6M Zero fighter shot down and crashed during the air war over the Island of Guadlcanal from the 1942-1943 battlefield. A very rare part to get hold of from the war in the Pacific.
