Glass framed 7.92mm bullet cases,lovely condition dated 1935-38 from German Ju87b-1 stuka dive bomber of 3/STG77,shot down 18th August 1940 in Chidham, sussex during battle of Britain
This is a glass-framed very rare trio of 7.92mm bullet cases all empty and inert which are in lovely condition still there original brass colour as they were buried deep which preserved them they are all fully maker marked and dated 1935 and 1938 which is very rare to find in this condition from a battle of Britain aircraft. The cases have damaged by the impact of the crash but not to badly and are in nice solid condition and have been carefully cleaned. They are presented in a glass-fronted box frame, complete with all aircraft information and numerous photographs including crash site pictures and close up pictures of the bases of the cases showing all the markings , making them perfect for display or any collection. The frame measures 9 half inches by 9 half inches in size.The bullets come from German Ju87b-1 stuka dive bomber of 3/STG77which was shot down at 2.30pm on the 18th August 1940 by RAF fighters during battle of Britain.
The stuka crashed to earth at North Barn in Chidham, Sussex and it killed both crew who were Oberleutnant Dietrich Lehmann and Uunteroffizier Hans Winiarski.
