This is a very unusal find from the battlefield a German Wehrmacht vehicle 12-volt FDE 12/4 Bosch horn used on many types of vehicles.
The Horn is near complete it is very rusty with some rust damage but nothing to bad it still retains some of its original colour on the back but not much it is still solid not braking up or falling apart and has been very nicely cleaned and is perfect for display or any collection. The horn is 5 inches wide and the first time i have ever had one of these horns recovered from the battlefield. The horn comes with 2 x A5 laminated information sheets with many pictures of the horn and the ford. The horn was recovered from the Moissey Ford area in the Falaise pocket, Normandy from the summer battlefield of 1944.
Moissey ford was a tiny road leading to a muddy track fording a large stream carried tens of thousands of German soldiers out of the Falaise Pocket in only a few days in August of 1944.
